The Wine
All the Beaujolais/Gamay will be available by the glass, with the option to order a wine flight trio taster; until stocks last!
Beaujolais Nouveau is released and sold every year on the third Thursday of November. The wine has been bottled just after this year's harvest, only a few months ago! Expect light juicy flavours all round!
Started in the 1970’s, a race would take place from Beaujolais to Paris, carrying the first bottles of the new vintage to the capital, which quickly became a national and now international event.
Fortunately for you, this year, you won’t need to race to Paris to taste the latest vintage. We have a few bottles behind the bar!
To keep the Beaujolais Nouveau company on the night, wE’LL be serving cheeses from Mons!
Alongside delicious French charcuterie as well as opening a few bottles of Gamay from the Beaujolais region and Loire Valley should you fancy comparing!
We will be serving from 6pm, with our November menu available to order from on the night and pouring this years vintage every Tuesday - Saturday until we run out!
