Wine Of The Month

Bablut Savignoin Blanc

This Sauvignon Blanc is so fresh and crisp with a lovely balanced acidity to it.  It has delicious sharp notes of citrus, gooseberry and white peach, plus a delicious herbaceousness that we can't get enough of!

The Daviau family has owned vines in the area of Angers, in the Southern Loire, since 1546!  Bablut' means two mills in the Angevin dialect, the family used to be millers as well as wine growers. The mills still stand today, but have since become used as cellars and tasting rooms with vineyards now covering around 50 hectares.

Our Wine Shop is open Wednesday to Saturday after 6pm for takeout, or visit our webshop for easy click-and-collect!
