Beaujolais Nouveau!

It’s that time of year again—Beaujolais Nouveau has arrived! This fresh, vibrant wine, bottled just months after harvest, lands each year on the third Thursday of November, bringing light, juicy flavours that celebrate the season.

Dating back to the 1970s, the Beaujolais release was marked by a race to bring the new vintage from Beaujolais to Paris, a tradition that quickly went from local excitement to an international celebration.

KLOSE & SOAN - BRASSERIE

Luckily, there’s no need to dash across the Channel this year—we have not only bottles waiting for you behind the bar but are bringing a taste of Paris to Deptford. We welcome  you to celebrate with us at “Klose & Soan - Brasserie” from Wednesday 20th November until Saturday 23rd November.

FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS

This Christmas we welcome you and up to 28 guests to celebrate with us at our cosy little bistro in the heart of South East London.




Our Festive Feasting Menu is all about sharing and savouring the best season has to offer with family, friends, and colleagues alike. From £40 per guest, indulge in our beautifully crafted, three-course menu—each dish a celebration of seasons best flavours.

Here’s what we have in store for you:

Welcome

Start your evening with a Glass of Sparkling Wine and our signature snack, Chickpea Panisse with Fermented Chilli Sauce and Grana Padano—a festive opener to toast the night ahead.

Starter

We’ve thoughtfully plated each starter with sharing in mind. Choose from delicately cured Beetroot Trout with Fennel and Cucumber, or our take on the classic Ham Hock Terrine paired with Piccalilli and Sourdough Toast.

Main

The main event calls for a touch of indulgence.  Select between the tender, Spiced Duck Leg with Amarillo Peach, Celeriac Mash, and Red Cabbage or the delicate Seared Bass atop Pomme Boulangère, finished with a decadent Tomato Fondue.

Dessert

To close, our classic Sticky Toffee Pudding—a sweet, comforting end to your festive meal.

Cheese Board

Add a savoury note to the evening’s celebrations for an extra £8 with our seasonal selection of cheeses with damson jelly and toasted bread.

FESTIVE COLLABORATIONS

To add to the festive cheer of Christmas 2024 we’ve joined forces with good friends Louie Louie to celebrate all things CRYPTMAS at Saint Louie.

For 16 special nights, we invite you to join us for a magical seasonal feast set beneath the candlelit, 200-year-old arches of St Peter’s Church in Walworth. Picture an intimate, romantic setting filled with flickering candlelight, an inspired holiday menu, and a warm ambiance that will make your evening truly memorable.


Our menu will showcase rich, seasonal flavours, and our team is happy to accommodate all dietary needs. Pair your feast with a selection of draught beer from local brewers Orbit, and an awesome cocktail and wine menu, curated to elevate the evening’s festive feel by the Saint Louie team.  On select nights, expect live music and DJs to add that perfect touch of joy and celebration to the festivities!
