March Menu Highlight
🍽Skrei Cod, Cuttlefish & Alubia Bean Ragu with Aioli
This month, we’re falling for another one of Head Chef John Hatan’s fish mains plates— this plate celebrates the freshness of spring while still offering the comforting warmth we crave as winter loosens its grip.
We’ve sourced the most pristine Skrei cod—firm, flaky, and delicately sweet—paired with a rich cuttlefish & alubia bean ragu, slow-cooked to silky perfection. A velvety, garlicky aioli ties it all together.
This dish is a taste of the sea with a nod to the slow warmth of the Mediterranean—just as fitting on a crisp March evening as it is after a sun-drenched day in Deptford.

Wine of the Month
Ham Street Blanc de Blancs 2021
We’re thrilled to introduce this exceptional UK-grown sparkling wine to our list this March—we absolutely love it!
Ham Street is the vision of Lucie and Jules, a husband-and-wife duo committed to regenerative farming, sustainable food systems, and beautifully crafted wines. Inspired by pioneering UK winemakers like Charlie Herring, Limeburn Hill, Offbeat Wines, and Domaine Hugo, they have redefined winemaking by eschewing chemicals in favor of wines that truly reflect the land and the people who tend it.
Still balancing vineyard work with their day jobs, Lucie and Jules are hands-on in every stage of the process. Their debut harvest—a pure Chardonnay—was barrel-fermented and aged for 10 months, then bottled and rested on lees before six months on cork. Secondary fermentation with biodynamic yeast brings layers of complexity and finesse.
✨ The result? A traditional-method sparkling wine bursting with energy, brightness, and depth—unfined, unfiltered, zero dosage, and no added sulphur.
There’s no better way to start your evening than with a glass alongside our signature panisse.
